Learning for schools and families

From written on-site and online resources, face to face delivery, GPS trails, activity bags to school programme design,
Storyline provide a diverse range of inspirational learning experiences for school and family groups.

We draw on 25 years experience in creating interactive sessions, activities and resources that are imaginative, stimulating, educational and fun.

We do 'hands on and minds on' in a very big way, meeting all key educational objectives when appropriate. We pride ourselves on our innovative and creative flair.

Over the last 8 years, we have developed a range of exciting school Discovery Visits for our regular client English Heritage, delivering over 500 of these, at sites across England. See
our work page to find out more.
Stewart listened to the teachers from the user group and managed to distil the elements of team work, creative work, ‘treasure hunting’ and storytelling into a genuinely engaging Discovery Visit. He then worked alongside me and a team of volunteers to fine tune the visit until it worked well within the timescale and across a large parkland and gardens.
Pippa Smith, Education Manager, English Heritage.
Within five minutes Stewart Alexander had the school group eating out of his hand. He had a range of teaching strategies employing question and answer, listening, enquiry, object handling, site exploration and hats to give a sense of character in role play. The classroom teacher was very impressed and felt that difficult information had been made easy for children to understand.

(Stewart Alexander was instrumental in helping English Heritage win a coveted Sandford award for the quality of its learning sessions at Carisbrooke Castle, I.O.W.)
