Stewart Alexander B.A, Certified Interpretive Trainer
Interpreter, trainer and storyteller, Stewart has 25 years involvement with environmental and cultural interpretive projects. His passion for communicating stories, began whilst studying for a degree in landscape photography. He then worked as a countryside educator, exploring creative ways, including storytelling, to engage people with nature and wild places. After several years as an interpreter with the Norfolk Museums Service he returned to freelance work, running Past Imagined, a storytelling company specialising in historical interpretation. In 2008 he set up Storyline Designs, to provide a comprehensive interpretive consultancy. He's trained extensively with many leading interpreters in both the US and UK in all aspects of Interpretation practice.
Jim Kavanagh
Illustrator, artist and museum Interpreter. Jim has a background in graphic design, but a keen interest in history, art and science led him to follow a career as a guide/interpreter. He leads presentations in historic buildings, museums, science centres and schools. He is a highly talented illustrator and artist having contributed widely to many projects including interpretive media, children's books, magazines and advertising. He has illustrated for leading children's authors including Anne Fine and for prestigious publishing house's including Time Life books. He is able to demonstrate a variety of drawing styles ranging from pithy and humorous cartoons to accurate renderings of many subjects including history and wildlife.
Jane Burgon B.A, P.G.C.E
Museum/environmental educator and writer. Jane has 25 years experience as an educator and facilitator working in the natural environment and more recently in the cultural sector as a museum learning officer for Norfolk Museums Service. A qualified teacher she has worked extensively with school children, adults and family groups providing a variety of lively learning experiences. Jane has written text for interpretive leaflets, guides, educational resources and family trails. Jane is a natural communicator with a passion for life long learning. A diverse educator she is also a qualified level three forest school practitioner and is actively involved in Forest School training and mentoring.
